Overview

The Victoria Falls Bridge bungee is a genuine bucket-list activity — 111 metres of freefall above the Zambezi in the Batoka Gorge, with the Falls themselves visible from the jump platform. The whole process, including harnessing and the walk out onto the bridge, takes a couple of hours even though the jump itself is seconds.

What to expect

Check-in & weigh-in

Standard safety procedure for any bungee operation — bring ID.

The walk out

Onto the bridge itself, with views down into the gorge building the anticipation.

The jump

A few seconds of freefall followed by the rebound — most people say the hardest part is stepping off, not the fall itself.

Good to know

  • Minimum weight requirement applies — check current limits when booking
  • The gorge swing and zipline are good lower-intensity alternatives if bungee feels like too much
  • Photos/video are usually a paid add-on
  • No advance booking strictly required, but recommended in peak season
