What to expect
Victoria Falls has a small but genuinely excellent fine-dining scene, anchored by a handful of restaurants with gorge or river views and a couple of standout in-lodge dining experiences. Book ahead in peak season (July–October) — the best tables go quickly.
- Several restaurants are set directly over or beside the gorge
- In-lodge chef's-table experiences are worth asking about if you're staying at a luxury property
- Reservations recommended, essential in peak season
